ALIGNING VETERANS’ STRENGTHS WITH HORSES’ FREEDOM FOR HEALING

We are recruiting Veterans and Service Members to participate in an equine mental health intervention aimed at treating trauma and the impacts of military service.
There is no cost to U.S. Veterans and Service Members. All the work is ground-based; no riding or horsemanship taught.

Soul to Sole Connection is dedicated to the mental health of our military and their families. While being supported by the horses and our professional facilitators (licensed and certified mental health professional and certified equine specialist), participants are offered the time they need to heal and overcome challenges on their terms.

We offer:

  • Private Counseling Sessions for Individuals, Couples & their Families

  • Closed Group Sessions (3-8 Veterans)

  • Day-Long & Half-Day Retreats (spouses, children and caregivers maybe included)

According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, Equine Therapy “has shown to be effective in treating patients, including combat veterans, with PTSD, depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, conduct disorders and other chronic mental illnesses.”
